Description
Old mine cut lab-grown diamond dormeuse earrings, collet-set in 14K yellow gold and blackened platinum. Antique-inspired lab diamond earrings, made to order in six carat weights.
Dormeuse is French for “sleeper”: a secure lever-back earring made to be comfortable enough to sleep in, and a favorite of the 19th century. Each diamond is collet-set in the Georgian manner, and the blackened platinum echoes the aged silver of antique jewels. The stones are custom antique cuts, so they have a soft, candlelit glow rather than a modern flash.
