Refund policy
30-day returns
Every C. Disston piece can be returned within 30 days of delivery, with the exception of bespoke commissions. This includes made-to-order, ready-to-ship, one-of-a-kind and estate pieces shipped within the United States.
To be eligible for a return, your piece must be unworn and in the same condition you received it, in its original packaging, with any paperwork that came with it.
How to return a piece
Email carolinedisston@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery to request a return. Once your return is approved, you will receive instructions on where to send it. Pieces sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Return shipping is paid by the customer. Because fine jewelry is valuable, we recommend returning your piece with a fully insured, trackable shipping service that requires a signature on delivery.
Final sale
- Bespoke commissions are made especially for you and are final sale.
- International orders are final sale, except orders shipped to the European Union (see below).
European Union 14-day cooling-off period
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without justification. Your piece must be unworn, in the same condition you received it and in its original packaging.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us right away if a piece is damaged, defective or not what you ordered, so we can make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange a piece is to return it and, once the return is approved, place a new order for the piece you would like.
Refunds
We will let you know once your return has been received and inspected, and whether your refund has been approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow some time for your bank or card issuer to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us at carolinedisston@gmail.com.
